Death of Ajman Ruler's sister - Friday 18/1/2019

On Saturday 19/1/2019 the royal court of the Emirate of Ajman (member of UAE) announced the death of a royal. Sheikha Naila bint Rashid Al-Nuaimi, sister of the elderly ruler, Humain III, had passed away the previous day(, Friday, January 18, 2019). She was also the mother of Sheikh Humaid bin Ahmed bin Rashid Al-Mu'alla (from the fellow emirate of Umm Al-Quwain). The age and death cause of the deceased was not revealed, neither any of her portraits were ever published (as customary among the most conservative Arab monarchies). Her funeral prayers were performed on Saturday noon, after that time's Dhuhor prayer, at Ajman's Al Rawdha Mosque. She was laid to rest privately.

Emirs/Rulers from the fellow emirates of Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain and Ras Al-Khaimah (all related with Ajman royalty) were the first to express their condolences to the mourning family, while their respective royal courts announced official mourning for the deceased. Ajman's royal court also announced that the Emir Sheikh Humaid (III) bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi (aged 87/88, the oldest ruler in UAE) and his entire family expressed their grief for Sheikha Naila and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest her soul in paradise. As it is customary in such ocassions, the senior mourners received local official visitors for three days and condolences by other Arab leaders of the region (like the King of Bahrain & Sultan of Oman).
